She was reasonably healthy and always house proud, and living through two World Wars and mainly depressing times and in a distressed area, with not a lot of cash coming in, brought up the family in a first class manner.
It was just in her last two years or so that her health deteriorated and when being admitted to hospital, passed away on 29th August 1989, aged 82. On her demise, she was the mother of 5 children, 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren had celebrated 62 years of married life.
